2. Q: Does Globel International offer customers a Customer Care Helpline?

A: Yes, Globel International offers customers a dedicated Customer Care Call Centre. Call 0861 456 235. Operating hours: Daily. 08h00–21h00.

3. Q What are the 4 major advantages of using Globel phone cards vs. other phone cards currently available?

A: - Lowest calling rates
- Can be used from any mobile phone or landline
- 24-hour set rates apply
- Can be used to call overseas from home and home from overseas

4. Q: Is your system legally approved in South Africa?

A: Yes, Globel International has the official approval of ICASA.

5. Q: How do I register to use your system?

A: You don’t need to register. Using Globel phone cards is an easy process:

- Purchase a phone card (till slip) at your nearest C.N.A, Edgars, Jet, Boardmans or Makro store and all Nedbank terminals.
- Your secret pin number appearing on your purchase till slip allows immediate
access to making calls from a landline or mobile phone.
- Make a call using the call option method of your choice.

6. Q: What if my PIN is unreadable?

A: Fax your till slip to 086 693 2133, then call the Globel Customer Care Centre (0861 456 235) and give the call centre agent the serial number appearing on your phone card voucher (till slip).We will then give your pin number to you over the phone.

7. Q: What if one of Globel’s Call Center Agents uses my PIN to make calls?

A: - Nobody is able to use your pin number.
- All Globel International phone cards are recorded and tracked.
- We are able to trace all calls made from pin numbers.
- Globel is able to provide itemised call records on request.

8. Q: Can Globel phone card users receive any form of billing as proof of calls made?

A: An itemised bill is available on request showing the number called; duration of call; cost of call. Itemised billing is forwarded to customers via fax. Call the Globel Customer Care Centre for further information.

9. Q: If I finish talking and want to make another call without going through the entire call connection process, what must I do?

A: Direct Dial Option Only.
To make a follow on call type ## and on your destination number add 00.
Example: Calling the United Kingdom: 00 44 12345612345

10. Q: If I can’t get the callback & my PIN is working, what do I do?

A: Call the Globel Customer Care Centre (0861 456235) and ask the Agent to connect you to your desired destination.

11. Q: Can I use Globel to make local calls?

A: Yes, but the rates for local calls are more expensive than the local networks. National calls, are however lower than other rates e.g. calling Durban from Cape Town.

12. Q: Can you use Globel phone cards from overseas?

A: Yes, the card can be used in over 120 countries. Please see the country access numbers to use while abroad. These numbers are listed in the Globel information leaflet or via the Globel Customer Care Centre.

13. Q: How long is a Globel phone card valid for?

A: 90 days from 1st use.

14. Q: What are the Telkom charges when calling the Globel direct dial access numbers?

A: Telkom Charges Landline: Peak = R0.52 per minute Off peak = R0.16 per minute.

15. Q: What are the Telkom charges when calling the Globel callback landline access number (0867 17 77 77)?

A: The call charge for our 0867 17 77 77 number is R2.02 / minute or part thereof.  If the call is more than a minute the user will be billed R3.55 for the call.
